Boxing Photography

My journey with photography began ringside, right on the edge of the action. I learned the fundamentals while capturing athletes at their physical peak who were throwing punches at lightning speed. There’s a thrill that comes with being able to capture a moment of intense action, freezing it forever into a single image. That’s what kept me coming back.

After photographing hundreds of matches, I felt there was more to explore beyond the ring. I wanted to experiment with more controlled, staged moments that are still able to capture the spirit of the sport. This led to some of my most challenging and gratifying pieces.

This collection brings together some of my favorite shots from over the years. Each one tells its own story, forged in sweat, speed, and split-second decisions (both on my part, and theirs).
